Frigate

NVR with object detection. Mesh shows the latest events with thumbnails.

What the integration can do

• Latest N events (default 10) with thumbnail
• Filter by camera + object class
• Click opens Frigate UI directly on the event

Prerequisites

• Frigate 0.13+ with API enabled
• Optional: auth header if Frigate is behind a reverse proxy with Basic Auth

Setup in Mesh

Admin → Integrations → Frigate → "Add":

• label — e.g. "Frigate Main"
• baseUrl — e.g. http://192.168.1.10:5000
• authHeader (optional) — e.g. Basic <base64> for reverse proxy
• verifyTls — false for self-signed

Using the widget

Admin → Content → Widgets → "Frigate". Settings:

• integrationIds[] — one or more
• cameraFilter[] — show only these cameras (default: all)
• classFilter[] — e.g. person, car, dog (default: all)
• eventLimit — default 10

Troubleshooting

• Events missing → Frigate only creates events with active record + detect config. Check frigate.yaml
• Thumbnails not loading → Mesh proxies them via /api/widgets/frigate/thumbnail/<event-id>. If that returns 404: auth header missing or wrong
• Old events remain → check Frigate event retention; Mesh only shows what Frigate delivers
